A Day @ the Park

Across the street from our home - on the river - lies English Park, named for Peter B. English, a lockmaster for decades at Owensboro's Lock-and-Dam that used to help manage nautical travel on the majestic Ohio River.

For fun, just the other day, Zoe had her first true-to-life experience on a swing-set. The back-and-forth, ebb-and-flow of life embodied in a rubber seat hanging from plastic-coated chains hovering over a mulched floor for all the world to see. She loved it. And we loved watching her love it.

The first of many, many, many swing rides down by the river.
