A FAMILY ADVENT TRADITION

Last year, after several failed attempts to find an Advent Calendar to our liking, Kendra made one, each part and piece is made of felted wool, and represents a traditional figure in the nativity. The idea is simple: every day of Advent, typically the days of December, Zoe picks a part of the overall picture from its hidden pouch and places it wherever she'd like in the nativity. From stars to shepherds, sheep to camels, magi to Mary, etc., everybody finds his place in the scene, and on Christmas Eve, it is the child who unveils the child and places him in his manger. Here are some pictures from the first couple of days.
